Jan Cleave

After receiving a PhD from the University of Bristol, Jan joined the research institute of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty in Munich. She later went with the institute to Prague, where she wrote extensively on Russia, in particular foreign and defence policy, and the Russian regions. She joined Trusted Sources following spells in publishing and due diligence (with focus on Russia and Eastern Europe). She spends several months of the year working out of Moscow.
