Irene Lauro

Irene Lauro is a London-based economist on the EM Macro Strategy team. She provides briefing and analysis of economics, markets, and political issues for the EMEA region with a focus on Turkey and South Africa. Ms. Lauro earned a Master of Research in Economics (two-year programme) from the London School of Economics, and an MSc (Summa cum Laude) in Economics from the LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome. While at the LSE, she was a Research Assistant for the Centre of Macroeconomics and also a Graduate Teaching Assistant for an undergraduate macroeconomics course.
