Trusted Sources is an independent research and consulting business with a distinctive methodology. Our skill is in understanding and explaining emerging countries. Emerging markets are generally opaque but four countries stand out in terms of size and importance:- Brazil, Russia, India, China. In order to offer real understanding of EM we believe that there is an important role for country specialists. Trusted Sources has teams on the ground in each of the BRICs. And our global macro team also provides coverage of other emerging countries including Indonesia and Turkey from London.

We create value for institutional and other investors by knowing and watching our countries whilst understanding our clients’ needs. We do this by thinking through how change at the policy level drives value at the sector level and also by providing a steady flow of judgment on macro country risks (political cycle risks, sluggish infrastructure, inflation across EMs, societal issues) - issues that many investors don’t have much time to focus on.
