Overview

As LNG infrastructure is built out around the world and demand expands in China and India, industry and equity analysts have become increasingly bullish about prospects of developing a global LNG market. This has raised the prospect of convergence of regional gas prices and the availability of alternative sources of energy for a Europe dependent on pipeline gas imports from Russia and for a power-starved China.
