Overview

China, India and the US are at the forefront of the nuclear power renaissance that is gathering steam as concerns mount about global warming. India and China have 11 nuclear plants currently under construction and have plans to build another 135. The US plans to build more than 30 new reactors. Other countries including the UK, Russia and smaller emerging markets are also planning to ramp up their nuclear energy programmes. An estimated 107 reactors are expected to be built by 2020....
