China’s power grid investment strategies remain unresolved

The power grid has been one of the main beneficiaries of China’s Rmb4 trillion (US$588 billion) stimulus package, with investment in the sector up 33 per cent in 2009. This year, however, differences of opinion on how best to build out China’s national power grid are delaying key investment programmes.
