China: Gas prices rise to avert shortages – positive overall

Chinese domestic gas prices are rising ahead of expected shortages this winter. That is positive for the market, for NOCs and, probably, for gas distributors. Dramatic increases in forecast demand in the medium term seem overly optimistic, but we expect imports to be able to take up the slack if domestic output...
