China Monitor: More potholes ahead for China’s car sales growth

The explosion in Chinese auto sales following the 2008-09 stimulus package, which included lifting the sales tax on cars with engine displacement below 1.6 litres, reflected the country’s dash for growth as Beijing rolled out a plethora of economic support policies. Industry leaders,
