Overview

In a new twist to Operation Lava Jato (“Car Wash”) and its myriad offshoots, President Michel Temer was reportedly taped by the owners of meatpacking behemoth JBS for agreeing to kickbacks in order to purchase the “silence” of former Lower House Speaker Eduardo Cunha, according to local daily O Globo in an article published Wednesday night.
