Steel demand will be driven by consumer and infrastructure spending in the medium term
Brazilian steel consumption will reach an all-time high of 25 million tonnes in 2010, a 34.5 per cent year-on-year increase driven by consumer demand for domestic appliances and automobiles and record-high mortgage growth.
