Gregory Kronsten

Director, Africa Research

Gregory Kronsten worked for ten years in the City of London in fixed-income areas with research responsibility for Africa and the Middle East, initially for WestLB and then for Commerzbank. Previously, he spent several years at the Economist Intelligence Unit in London, latterly heading up a team of eight editors as Regional Director (Africa). He started his career as an international banker in the former Zaire and India before working as a freelance journalist, consultant and broadcaster on African affairs. Gregory is a graduate of Oxford University.
